January 20, 2008, 2:30 pm, The annual Bel Canto Italian Opera Concert

October 8, 2007, 6:00 p.m., Author Stephen Puleo, spoke about his recently published book, "The Boston Italians: A Story of Pride, Perseverance and Paesani", a history spanning the great immigration period to the present.

October 23, 2007, 6:30 p.m., Evening of Italian Sons, Lucia's in Winchester hosted by Anna and Filippo Frattoroli.

October 12, 8:00 p.m. at the Dante Alighieri Society, cosponsored event by the Circolo Letterario, the Dante Alighieri Society and the Pirandello Lyceum, featured the beautiful voice of Lorraine DiGregorio and accomplished pianist, Maria Pia Antonelli.

October 23, (Saturday) Watertown Lodge Sons of Italy. Sicilia Mondo honored Pirandello Board Chairman and Past President, Peter Ingeneri.

October 19 (Tuesday) 7:00pm, Lucia's Ristorante, Annual Song Program to benefit Pirandello Scholarship Program.

October 16 (Saturday) 8:00 pm, Dante Alighieri Cultural Center. Early to modern Italian opera with outstanding vocalists.

Sept. 28 (Tuesday) 7:30pm, Prof. Orazio Buttafuoco, Piradello 2nd Vice-President, presented "Sicily, Myth and Reality, a New Perspective." This lecture was sponsored by the Appian Club and was conducted at 42C Technology Square, Pleasant St., Stoneham, MA.

Sept. 19 (Sunday) Marino's Ristorante, Cambridge. Dinner with Toto. ($60) A fundraiser for the Italian Heritage Month Committee.

Sept. 13 (Monday) - 7:00pm. Pirandello Lyceum Annual Meeting, Pier 4, Boston.

Sept. 11 and 12 - Cosmas and Damian Festa Italiana, Warren St., East Cambridge.

August 31 - This date marks the 90th birthday for Emily Cirame, long time member and friend of the Pirandello. Maria Pia Antonelli, Emily's dear friend, has given us Emily's address: THE FALLS, 2300 Washington St., Room 417, Newton, MA 02462. Emily is sure to love receiving cards even if they are late.
